Dr. Droupti Yadav
Dr. Droupti Yadav completed her M.Sc. (Environmental Science) from CSJM University (Campus), Kanpur Nagar, U.P., India and earned her Ph. D. (Environmental Science) from University of Lucknow, Lucknow, U.P., India. Dr. Droupti qualified the national competitive examinations like UGC-NET (LS) and ARS-NET (LS) of ASRB/ICAR. She worked at various reputed institutes and organizations like Project Assistant (Level-II) at EMD, Indian Institute of Toxicological Research (formerly ITRC), CSIR, Lucknow, Project Fellow at Department of Geology, University of Lucknow (under collaborative project with SAC, ISRO, Ahmadabad) and Project Scientist at Remote Sensing Application Centre U.P., Lucknow (under world bank funded project UPSLRP-III). Dr. Yadav, serving as Assistant Professor and currently Coordinator of IIRS, ISRO Outreach Network Centre & Environmental Science and Technology, SLSBT, CSJM University (campus), Kanpur Nagar, U.P., India. Dr. Droupti received several awards like 'Meritorious Award' ‘Best Poster Presentation Award’ by IIT Kanpur,‘Young Scientist Award, ‘Best Teacher Award’, ‘Best Environmentalist Award’, ‘Excellence in Teaching Award’ ‘Pride of Kanpur Award’ and Several Cultural/ Literary/Sports Awards etc. In national and international conference she received Appreciation from NMCG, MoWR, Delhi and IIRS ,ISRO, Dehradun for her valuable contributions in the field of Science and Technology. She holds many Patents, published several Book chapters, Books, Research papers and Presented paper (Poster/Oral) in Conferences/ Seminars/ Symposium/ Webinars (National and International). As a subject Expert she is Reviewer of various reputed journals. She delivered many Invited/ Guest lectures in national/ international programs and actively participated in various Workshops/ Trainings/ FDPs and capacity building programs in India and abroad like Canada. She actively involve in teaching and research in the field of Environmental Science and Technology. Dr. Yadav, visited various national and international reputed institutes during her academic and research related work like IISc-Bangaluru, IIRS-ISRO-Dehradun, NCPOR-Goa, NIO-Goa, IISER- Bhopal, GSITI-Hyderabad, TISS-Mumbai, UNESCO C2C Centre- WII Dehradun, Uttarakhand, NMCG- New Delhi, NIDM-New Delhi, NRSC-ISRO-Hyderabad, NEHU-Shillong, NSI-Kanpur, KSDMA-Kerala, CBRI-CSIR, Roorkee, Pondicherry, Gwalior, Pune, Vishakhapatnam, Mysore, Nepal, Canada via London etc.
